Music center "Frits Philips" at the Heuvel Galerie
To the Heuvel Gallerie (a large shopping mall) in city Eindhoven also belongs the music center "Frits Philips"  with a large concert hall. Within the upper range at the front of the music hall is a frieze consisting of six individual fields.

These are arranged with classical mosaics. In each mosaic is a portrait of a composer centered.

These composers are:

Andriessen (Netherlands)
Bejamin Britten (Great Britain)
Olivier Messien (m  France )
George Gershwin (USA)
Karl-Heinz Stockhausen (Germany)
Dimitri Schostakowitsch (Russia)
Das Material für die Portraits is Grecian marble (Ariston).
With the completion of the music hall the world company Philips celebrated its 100 year old existence.
